Garlic bread is something that goes very well with cream-based soups and pasta. I had a craving 2 days ago when we had some homemade bread and I wanted something savoury. So I decided to make my own garlic bread spread.
I have seen it on TV before (I think the cook made dill butter?) and wanted to recreate it seeing how easy it was.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp soft spread
- 1 heaped tsp minced garlic
- 2 pinches of salt
- dried herbs (I was out of basil, so only added oregano)
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients together and spread on bread. Toast for a couple of minutes to get the bread crispy and golden.
It’s so easy, you can make a container and keep it in the fridge for those sudden garlic bread cravings.
